USB-C Port Conversion
If you hate carrying a charger that requires an outlet and a bulky charger to just regulate 5V of power, this is the solution for you. Your console's original charging port is desoldered and a USB-C port (that supports power negotiation and limits power intake to a safe level with any cable) is soldered into the exact same spot, then the shell is shaved down so it sits flush. A jig covers any noticeable holes or gaps left behind from the install.

Order, then ship your console
Upon ordering, you'll receive a confirmation email with the shipping information. Then, mail your console to us with a note including your name/email so we can easily identify it's owner for better contact. You'll only cover the shipping to send the console to us. The mail-in conversion service is available only for United States return addresses.
Tip: Remove the battery before shipping; it avoids HAZMAT or UN3841 labeling requirements for both of us. -

We install the new port
We'll confirm once your console arrives and is being worked on. All installs are finished and shipped the same day or shipped the next day, though please allow up to 21 days for processing and handling as USPS or your personal couriers delivery times can vary.

It ships back to you
We cover return shipping within the United States and email you tracking info as soon as it's on its way. International mail-in orders are not available. Want your old port back? Ask in your order notes or via email with your order number, and it will be sealed in a small bag and sent along with your console.
Before you send your console
This is an independent, third-party modification service and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo.
The modification is non-reversible; material is removed from the original shell to fit the new port, and this can't be undone without replacement parts.
If anything breaks during the installation itself, we'll repair it free of charge, or refund your purchase (including return shipping) and replace any damaged parts. We photograph and video every console before and after service.
