These terms apply to the 3DS USB-C mail-in port-conversion service. By paying for a conversion, you agree to the terms below.

Mail-in service

The mail-in conversion service is available only for United States return addresses. We do not accept international mail-in orders. After payment is confirmed, we email the mail-in address and packing instructions. You are responsible for shipping the console to us and for using suitable packaging. Remove the battery before shipping and include your order number inside the package.

Modification and compatibility

The conversion permanently modifies the console shell and charging-port assembly. It is not reversible without replacement parts. The service is an independent modification and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo.

Return shipping and timing

Return shipping is included in the service price for the United States address supplied through PayPal checkout. Processing may take up to 21 days after the console arrives, plus carrier time. We will send tracking once the console is shipped back.

Special requests

Contact us before ordering if you have a special request. We will confirm anything that needs clarification by email.

Service issues and refunds

If the installation itself causes a problem, contact us promptly at [email protected] with your order number so we can evaluate repair, replacement, or refund options. Do not send a console without receiving return instructions.

Limitation

You are responsible for backing up data and removing personal accounts or sensitive data before mailing a console. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service. This only applies to those whose consoles were damaged in the process of being shipped over for modification; if your console was damaged after, you're exempt from this limitation and can receive a full reimbursement. You are liable if you don't package your 3DS properly.
